Ebay5150's 1st run

Many like to post about a first successful ferment (or first all grain mash), or first still built/bought or first good run of the still. Tell us about all of these great times here.
Pics are VERY welcome, we drool over pretty copper 8)

Ebay5150's 1st run

Post by Ebay5150 »

Ok, so...
Coconut palm sugar and Maqui berry mash.

8 day ferment with fleischmann yeast and fermaid K.

28oz of hearts, tested good w/blue flame.

This taste just like homemade Schnapps from southern Germany.

I have the simple Vevor still, I know, cheap as f**k. All I can say is DAMN... I am hooked!

Time to modify, get better gaskets and replace the brass.

My next mash is coconut palm sugar and mango! Stay tuned, because WOW, it is working off hard!

Ask and I might answer

Enjoy da buzz!

You won't tell much of use from a flame test.

Actually, the time to do those things was before you started drinking your product.

I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.

That’s it. No more reading!
