I am an Australian and I've been making beer, primarily for my beer loving wife, for 35 years. I calculated how much we spend on spirits in a year and decided it was time to make spirits. I bought an airstill pro (due it's small size and not wanting to waste a lot of water). I made a few reflux batches and added rum, gin and vodka flavour packets. These do not taste as nice as I thought they would so decided I need to connect with experts. That is the reason that I joined this forum. I am looking forward to learning how to make smooth, normal tasting spirits.
