Good day all,
New to HD and distilling in general... well of beverage alcohol anyway. I am a chemist by trade, and have been brewing beer for over 20 years so fermentation is in my wheelhouse.
Looking forward to this new journey.

Welcome to the fun!
As a homebrewer, you have some advantages with base knowledge......and some things to unlearn. Do lots of reading, and then when you figure out what questions you have, read some more. Lots of good folks here to lend a hand.

This whole 'on the grain' thing with no boil has me twisted up. My primary interest is whisk(e)y so I've got a ways to go. Keg (pot) still has been built, now I read for a few weeks..
Thanks for the note and appreciate all the advice.
