Cornmeal honey and oats

So got lucky and bought 2 30 gallon fermenters the other day
For my mash it was a Frankenstein recipe i pieced together from here
25# martha white cornmeal
10# honey (walmart brand)
3# quick oats
Will let yall know after fermented
Gonna be a 20 gallon wash

Did you mash with enzymes?

Yes i had sone high temp amalayse to get rid of be fore i go to the seb star liquid enzymes

OG? Often those high temp alpha amylase enzymes are not the right enzymes to convert the starches, especially if they were old.

Still_stirrin broke stupid hydrometer when i was stirring with paint mixer paddle
My big hind end bumped it of counter
Was in a cardboard tube it came in but 3' drop still busted it gonna grab another from local hbs when i check on it
So ill get a fg but not gonna do anyone any good but still keep me in practice

Ooops. Hydrometers do have a propensity to commit suicide. Get 2. Ditto for you Proof & Traille hydrometer.

Did my strip and spirit runs
Kept a little over a gallon of hearts from my 3 runs total combined
Very smooth at 150 no burn at all very easy drinking
For now on will proof down to 100 and now i want a bigger still lol t500 was good but gasket failed and lost alot to steam leak on 3rd run
