I am very new to Distilling, since Christmas. I live in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, where I grow some grapes and make a little wine. I'm particularly interested in Brandy in its many varieties, but I may delve into Rum, as my Dearly Beloved (hereafter known as DB) seems to be particularly interested in the brew.

I am looking forward to the wealth of knowledge I can find here.
