Hi all from europe

Post by darkvalley »

Hi all,

After having watched all of ......................... and all of Jessies (not uncle) and lurking on this forum for quite some time reading and learning, registering to the forum to learn some more. :) My goal is to make something nice to infuse it with woodchips and or fruits from the yard (and to create a wild yeast mash using the fruit in the yard) Just to have fun and make tasty things for our own consumption

I'm currently on my 7th generation of UJSSM (the corn taste is a tad to sweet for my liking but a great start to get to know things).
Have an all grain mash (with a sprinkle of sugar) that smelled like vomit before it got to the right pitching temp / recently more like strong pineapple which i'll be straining out
Recently dabbling with a reflux (5 plates) setup using the UJSSM 4th, 5th and 6th strip run results (60 litres of 30% abv in the pot) to make limoncello, recipe from and Italian grandma (just finished peeling the skins from the lemons + putting them in glass jars) Curious to see how the sweet corn tase versus the lemon works.

Next on my wish list is Jimbo's Single Malt AG Recipe viewtopic.php?t=90832
+ wanting to create a more neutral Birdwatchers viewtopic.php?t=90815 for the infusion of fruit.

Happy to join and learn how to make better (rolling) cuts and try out different recipes. :D
