Old Copper water heater, ideas?

I know this is an old post. In the 60's my Dad built a still out of an old copper tank like that. A welder friend brazed/soldered ports in it and he ran it with electric element. No column just a long copper worm thst bathed in ice water. I have no idea how much product came off that still. Spent many Saturdays in basement with him and that still. My uncle had it for 30-35 years after Dad died. Probably still being used.
