Juice press or juicer
So, I have looked through a lot of the recipes and I'm thinking about doing a peach moonshine run but it's calling for a press, that's got to be the same thing as a juicer, right?

No.
A press and a juicer are two completely different beasts.

They are two different things, but I can't imagine why a decent juicer wouldn't work.
Some juicers are so efficient, you can run carrots through them, get lots of juice and it spits out dry pulp. Those kind of juicers are pretty expensive though. I've ran apples through an expensive juicer like that and it made nice cider.

That's why we bought our juicer to do carrot juice and apple cider and applesauce with the leftovers, work perfect for that, just didn't know if it would work in this circumstance.

Just don't run the pit through a juicer.
They add great flavor but you don't want to break the pit (stone seed ect.)
Good for a thumper if you use one.
