Hey everyone!
Lurked here for a few months after noticing my local brew shop got some t500s into the store. I grew up making wine with my nonno and father, and recently decided to start brewing my own beer. After seeing the t500s I decided I should branch out and try something new, but still in the same realm of "alcohol production".
After completing all the required reading I've set out to build my own setup instead of buying a t500. There are a few reasons to this:
- t500s use silicone which is a no-no I've learnt
- Making something your own is always more fun and teaches you a lot
- I wanted something modular as opposed to locked in to a system/family of products
The reason for creating an account instead of lurking is so I can ask questions regarding reflux condensing in the appropriate forum.
