He is living proof that you can still achieve many things with only one leg.
He used to run the best of the best fishing charters in this area, Ive been fishing with him and he got around that boat with one leg better than I could on two when we were out at sea.
It was a great day out and we came home with our bag limit of more than one species.
He did that charter thing for many years, then took up one legged surfing......I think hes now world champ in that category.

Hes been know as "Mono" as long as Ive lived in this area, 40 + years .......I first knew of him as a "fishing legend" ......that was before he went into the charter business.

Also it is Mulekicker birthday and although he has not been on the forum for years I remember back in 2010 or 2011 I bought my first controller from him as he was making and selling them to members. If you felt you had enough experience he even created a thread with instructions on making your own with a shopping list of materials.
