Ive been lurking on this forum a while as I learn the craft,
Been making rums, all grain whiskeys and brandies for about 6 months now, and I have learnt a lot.
I run a Digiboil 30L with the Alcoengine pot still head, also have an alcoengine reflux still but haven't used it a whole lot, did make a nice batch of oaty vodka from an analogous recipe to FFV. This is a small setup but has made some great booze right from the get-go, and I have learned a lot with it. It also doubles as a ridiculously undersized mash tun
Currently have more FFV analogues (quick oats, oat bran, all-bran cereal) in the works, about 14L of rum low wines in for a spirit run, a fig brandy, and plans for a couple other things.
Thanks all for your fantastic input on this site over the years, for any fermentable there is I know I can search it and at least find somebody who's given it a crack.
