Hi all,
I'm new to distilling but ok with all grain brewing which may help a little bit!
I've successfully avoided the $700 air still pro and decided to dip my toes into things with an alcoengine pot still as most things I want to create are bourbons, gins and whisky
The turbo yeast trap has also been avoided!
I've also read and completed the advice on cleaning my still, vinegar then a sacrificial run with a failed beer, then another cleaning run to be sure.
It's amazing seeing what comes out after the first run!
My first sugar run is going slowly due to expired yeast, but I've learned patience when doing lagers!
Greetings from really far south
