Cheers from The Netherlands

Post by Yvet »

Hi all you fantastic active forum members.
I was interested in producing oils from herbs, got myself a 30 ltr still (I need to upgrade my herb garden to fill up this one... :P ), did a few runs with rosemary and ended up with some questions which brought me on this excellent, informative forum.
Reading all the (mandatory) stuff for the last couple of days now and it even answered the questions I didn't knew I had. And as I love a good Scottish whisky (or rum, brandy, gin...) and bake my own artisan sourdough bread I got very interested if my experience in the sourdough and all the ingredients I already have, will give me the mash needed for a good bottle (or more). Still wondering If a sourdough mash will work, but I'll google it first before I end up with a spoon.
Me in short: Too many projects I love, experimenting with (creating) food on a plate or in a glass, Barbet owner and breeder, kind of ADHD and "I never did it, so I think I can do this!"
I'll first start with Birdwatchers swr as I have most of it already and see what the still and I will come up with... I do have some spare time before the herbs grow back... :D
Cheers, Yvet
