Yea, I am not a fan of all the finished nonsense. Even "single barrel" has been turned into a bit of a joke, for example I know of several NDPs that will batch together a bunch of MGP, finish it in a single barrel, then label it a single barrel. It's not a regulated term, so they aren't breaking any rules, but still shady.

There is a plethora of "top shelf" bourbon on the market that isn't worth the price per bottle.
