Hi all, I'm new here. New to distiling, no experience previously. Introduced to distilling by a friend. Have realised quickly theres so much more to it than the info he passed on, so am here to learn more. Just got my still and equipment. Have done 2 runs so far, first one I stopped early and threw out (unsure if that was necessary now), second run hit a fair few speed bumps. Did end up with a bit of usable alcohol but will see how the final product turns out. Decided to pause and do my own research before my next attempt.
Im looking to do sugar washes at the moment but am very interested in progressing in the future, but have to learn to crawl before I walk.
So glad there's a forum like this to be able to learn and get into this hobby. Thanks in advance for all the shared knowledge
