Louisiana law
Louisiana has no specific laws on home distilling, and refers back to federal laws on home distilling. In this case, if a federal judge in Texas rules that the laws on home distilling are unconstitutional, and if it stands, then that should cross over into Louisiana law as well, correct? I'm just trying to make sure I'm interpreting this correctly.

I think you will just have to wait and see how the law is written. When states call a law unlawful it might still be illegal on the Federal level. What has happened in other instances is it is illegal on the Federal level but at the state level it is not enforced.

There are 13 federal appeals court regions. Texas and Louisianna are in the same 5th Circuit region so a decision would cover LA, Tx, and Mississippi. Other circuits often rule differently, but those decisions stand until the Supremes decide.
