I've been lurking around for a while, getting a feel for what goes on here and think I'm ready to get properly involved.
I've made myself a little keg still with a sort of gin basket (1ft of 2 inch pipe with gause in each end), a 3kw element and a massively oversized condenser to limit water usage. It's harder than I thought to get some of the fittings in the UK but I've managed to import anything I've needed.
She's had her vinegar and water runs, still not spotless but ready for a little sac run of birdwatchers before the first drinking run.
