Howdy Fellow Distillers / New member

Post by Still-Learning »

What a pleasure to find such a well moderated distilling site. I joined one several years ago at the beginning of the Big C event (it may have been here?) to study up and learn the things I needed to know in order to build a still and work up a good mash to make some corn liquor.

I ran 3 batches that 1st year and still have some liquor put up. I like making it more than drinking it, hahahah! But WOW, is it tasty and clean! I can share a pint with a friend and never tell I had a thing to drink at all the next morning!

Anyways I have a friend who is interested in learning so thought it was about time to break out the ol still, dust her off and crank her up again this fall before I forget everything I learned a few years ago. So, wanting to re-hone what few brewing and distilling skills I have acquired before I forget everything I have previously learned, I thought it best to look you guys up and get back in the saddle again!

Looking forward to gleaning knowledge from those of you here who have been at it consistently for a good number of years. Thanks in advance for sharing it with other interested hobbyist like myself!

Thanks Dr. Griz, it's good to be able to continue learning!
