Hi All

Post by GentleHippopotamus »

Hi everyone. I have been making wine at home for more than 15 years, but I just recently got interested in home distilling. I bought my first pot still 2 weeks ago, and made my first brandy from grapes. There are good resources on internet about making wine or brewing beer in my native language, but not the same for home distilling . Then I found this forum with plenty of information to read and learn. I have so many questions in my mind and feel a bit overwhelmed at the moment:) I am mostly interested in making fruit brandies, I also would like to experiment whiskey or flavored neutrals from time to time.

Welcome to HD. Take the information in small bites, focus your reading on brandy from grapes. Choose your still and read how to run that. If you don't you will be mixing methods and get confused. Have fun.

Welcome to HD. As a newer member myself, I totally understand the overwhelmed feeling. Just keep doing searches and reading, there's a ton to soak up.
