Why ? You fill up to the the level it works at and mark it. If it rises 10" you know you have 20" W.C. . My manometer is copper on one side borosilicate mostly on the other. The boro glass starts 40% up on the other side. That way a meter long piece is giving me i actually 66" wc visually.shadylane wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 3:12 pmA suggestion.squigglefunk wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 6:15 am oh boy you know I love making little drawings of this shtuff
In the drawing there's only clear tubing on one side of the manometer loop.
Have clear tubing on both sides for a differential measurement.

If your only using the manometer once before disassembling no problem. But with each run a small amount of liquid gets into the manometer making the measurement progressively more inaccurate.

Maybe because of this summers heat I never noticed any build up. Actually I had to top it up twice. We only use it about every three weeks. But even if you do get condensation you still only need to see one side. Maybe add a drain at the bottom if you live where it's cold. Mine is fitted with a triclamp so I guess I could just pour it out the top.

One sided will work, two sided is sexier.
