My journey started with Mead I got curious while watching Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. What was it? The priest was so trashed on. Turns out it was Mead. I've made two 1 gallon meads thus far. One traditional finishing out at 8% ABV and the second gallon finishing out at 18% ABV with the (help of some wine yeast instead of regular bread yeast like the first one.) I had a riot of a time burping the meads and creating a tiny mead volcano. Mead all over the kitchen.
My wife picked up a cheap distiller after that fun. So yeah let'sake some Honeyshine
I love whiskey but am a lil tired of the corn flavor. Moved to brandy as my preferred recently.
But Honeyshine might taste even better.
