Super happy to be aboard. I' from Sydney, I've just turned 50 and have been making wines and ciders for a few years now.
I've wanted to get into distillation for ages ... this is my creative outlet as I'm not crafty, or musical and I can't DIY or anything else worth mentioning but this makes sense to me.
Anyhow I have a small place and no shed or workshop yet so I'm starting small with an Airstill. I'm hoping to upside both in house and still in the next year or so. So far just sugar wash neutrals are the focus and I'm onto my first Birdsman wash.
Next steps I'm planning on learning how to to small scale (25l) all grain stuff and start to learn the art of cuts.
Please don't crucify me if I ask a dumb question ... lol
