Being new to the group, I am posting to find out what goes into the distillation process. I am very interested to learn from those who have experience in the art.

Welcome to HD. That is a very broad question on a very large topic. There are volumes of information within the forum. It depends on what you want to make. What kind of still you use and how you are equipped to do your fermentations. Start by reading up on the recipes and topics that apply to you first. Don't forget safety. There are Do's and definite Don't s in this hobby for your own safety and those around you.
When you have specific questions ask them in the proper forum.

Edit Tried and True contains proven recipes that will yield consistent good results. Start there then expand as you gain experience and figure out what suites your taste.
