Hi. I bought my first still. A 1 gallon air still. Did a rum with blackstrap molasses and an UJSSM run that came out really good.
Looked up a bunch of recipes on this forum and did my first all grain that was a success except for ripping the brew bag and making a mess. That led me to ferment on grain and learn how to separate grain.
Now I was hooked. Got some 18 gallon pickle barrels for mash tuns and just bought an 8 gallon milk can dual purpose still and controller with electric element.
I’ve done a lot of reading and I still have a bunch of learning to do. I’d like to thank everyone on the site and especially the admin for giving us a place to learn
