New distiller, got a 35L boiler and an alcoengine pot still column. Cheap, but hey I'm cheerful too.
So far I've completed 2 ferments, Birdwatchers TPW. 1 went for the sacrificial clean. 1 has been 'stripped' for 6L low wines, now sitting in a cupboard.
Got 3x 25L All Bran washes fermenting now.
Hoping to do some gins and whiskys. Got a column extension for a botanical basket. Bought juniper berries, coriander seeds, and a bunch of other ingredients, Odin's EG is looking good to try.
Re: Whiskys, don't mind the idea of essences if I can get something I'm happy with. But also with the pot still, I'm not getting true neutrals, so might be hit and miss. Might just have to buy a reflux column also.
