About me- from southeast US. I have always been interested in making my own. I recently retired and bought a cheap 10 gal Amazon still to get my feet wet. I have done a couple of sugar runs and am now hooked.

Here is a picture of my starter set up and the run result (55%). This was a brown sugar wash, I have a sweet feed in the fermenter now.

Hello and welcome!! I got my feet wet with the same still ( 5 gal). It will teach you the basics and I made some dang good rum and moonshine with it. The condenser is waaaaay too small and it was a pain in the butt, always tinkering with it. Enjoy the ride!!
