I keep getting booted

When I click on a new thread, I get booted and it gives me an error message and says Home Distiller site cannot handle this request at the moment.

I refresh it a couple times and the site comes back. It's been doing this for a while. I saw they had to rewind it a couple days. I couldn't get on for 2 or 3 days at that point, but it's still booting me.

When I post something I get booted, but the post has posted when I get back on.

Anyone else having these problems? Not sure if I should call my cable company or if it's the site having a problem.

It's not just you Sadie, site's buggin' a little. The guys have been working on it a bunch, they'll figure it out.

I think it might have been my internet. I have not been able to post anything in almost a month! We just changed our internet speed. It was 72 bpms and now it's 300. I hope it helps

I still get page load errors sometimes. Almost seems like it has something to do with bots scraping the site for info.

Some times the site takes me several attempts to get on or post.
It's been wonky like this for awhile.

Has just dropped from 1600 odd guests to 200 and boom , it’s working again .

Yeah it's crazy how quickly the number of users goes up and down.
Few users = nice fast forum.
Anything over about 1000 = as slow and jerky as hell.

Maybe you mean 72Megabits per second -300. That would be a more realistic modern-day internet upgrade .

Having said that , 72Mbps is nothing to be sneezed at and certainly wouldn’t be your problem with this forum . Our family of teenagers playing games , watching movies and doing Uni assignments managed on less than 20Mbps for years .

This forum is broken and has been for several months .And even us Moderators are getting logged out at times and having to spend 1/2 hr trying to get back on .

I've gone from several visits a day, actively looking for old and informative threads to read, or discussions to join, down to the occasional tap, and if its not loading right away I don't bother.
These days, everything on the net is snappy and fast, so waiting on a simple page to load has become unbearable.

I'm basically like this now too. Sometimes I can get on and just read info, but sometimes it won't even let me do that so I don't bother. It's too bad. I hope they can fix it soon. I really miss it.

We’re back down to 300 guests . It runs fine then . It’s when the guests get uo around 1500-2000 mark it turns to shit .

I’d love to know why the “guests” keep hammering on /off .
I bet they know that if they hammer us to death there will be nothing left for the taking . Just hurting us enough to keep us alive and give them something to feed off .
