Anyone know how I can find out the safety of a certain brazing rod?
My welder got it all together while I was gone using Stay Silv 15. One of the welds is definitely in the steam vapor path (not alcohol). Searches on the site yielded two “id use it” with little other info. MSDS says copper silver and phosphate. Apparently cadmium is no longer used.
Do I need to start over or should it be ok?
A mega thread on brazing rods flux etc and safety would be cool. There are so many different types.
Anyone use Stay Silv 15?
