After about 5 years of using my Vevor pot still. I took the jump and bought a My Vodka Maker+ after seeing Bearded and Board review it. For me it's a great fit because I am Way more interested in the mashing process than I am in the distillation process.
With the liquor robot I've distilled probably about 70ish gallons of homemade wine that was given to me, 30ish gallons of sugar wash, and my last was what I'm calling Vilmar Shine, which is a recipe I got for corn wine out of a church cookbook, which is very similar to UJSSM.
The Vilmar shine turned out good, and I aged a bit of it on some oak staves for 3 months and it had a pretty decent burbon taste.
Looking forward to being part of this group, and shine on!
