I'm a newb, but I've been reading for a while and I'm getting ready to start fabricating.
I have a couple of questions about kegs and spears before I get too excited with hammers, drills and angle grinders
Questions are:
Can I use the keg spear as the feed tube for the thumper? There is a rubber o-ring that seals the spear to the keg I'll need to replace with teflon, and I'll need to knock out the ball and spring.
My spear is made up of a few pieces, the tube is definitely stainless, is the cast bayonet flange at the top stainless as well?
