Hi, Panhead Pat from the Washington DC tri-state area here with my 1st post!
I joined the forum a while back and have been reading, trying to soak up as much knowledge as I could. Figured I would take the "next step" and try to be more interactive as I continue forward.
I started brewing beer MANY years ago which lead me to distilling. I've built most all of my own equipment, seems to work well! I have a 1/2 barrel keg heated with electrical element controlled with a PID controller. I've fitted it with a 3" tri-clamp to attach the copper 3" column that I built in sections so I can adjust height. That has a 90 degree elbow attached to a 22.5 degree then it reduces down to 3/4 copper. I have a union at the end to attach a Liebig condenser made from 3/4" copper with a 1 1/4" outer about 36" long. I also have a 3' to 2" reducer and a tall 2" stainless column with blubbers and a dephlegmator that make a really good TPW.
Kinda lost my train of thought, LOL! Anyway I'm glad to be here and look forward to learning from all the experts with their vast wealth of knowledge.
I hope I did this right? If not PLEASE let me know!
THANK YOU
