Hello,
I'm planning on buying several different types of corn, barley and a rye to figure out what their individual taste like so it might help me later and figure out a recipe. After I'm done learning the individual flavors can I use these to blend something that I enjoy then taking that same percentage of grains and put that in a pot would the basic same flavor will come through it in distillation.
My other question is why do people hear feel that using a boiler and a thumper will smear your whiskey, while I see people making Rum using two of those things and they seem happy..
