Last weekend I started 2 x shadys sugar washes. Both started around 1.065 and finished at 0.090. Today I stripped these in my pot still configuration.
I decided to take a bit of foreshots on each one (I now I don’t have to) but was hoping to make the Cutts cleaner on the spirit run.
From about 22 litres and 20 litres washes I got 4.5 and 4 litres of low wines ( getting the lingo now
) at each one was 40 and 38.8 APV.I stopped collection at 14.4 and 12.6 APV ( all temp corrected)
Ready for my spirit run in my reflux still configuration tomorrow
I will take careful cuts in lots of jars and leave the covered overnight before I start blending. Following the Cutts post.
