I got around to watching that the other day. I feel like his liquor would have been pretty rough to drink. I wont even mention alot of the other things I noticed but this one was glaring in my face. I saw he had his wash in a 53 gallon wooden barrel and a 50ish gallon pot. He threw away about 20oz at the first and then jarred 14 half gallon jars. Thats 7 gallons he caught off of a 50 gallon wash. I was trying to imagine tasting that and man the amount of heads and tails in that blend woulda been rough on you. Cause I know alot of them old timers would run til the bead kinda died off.
Im glad we live in a time where we understand things better as far as this craft goes
