Hiya distillers.
For my upcoming spirit run of apple pomace wash I was thinking of chopping up apples to hang in a brew bag at the top of the boiler. I have nylon mesh brew bags meant to be used for fermentation that I can tie to the mouth of the boiler.
However, I am uncertain if nylon is a safe material to have in the vapor path. Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated.
Edit: I am pretty cerain nylon is not appropriate. What would be, is a better question? Cotton?
