Newish from the Colorado Rockies

Post by Rollingmenace »

Newish Guy here i was a member on this site way back.. and could not retrieve my info… As the weather cools down it’s time to start dabbling again.
I ordered some new supplies and waiting for them to arrive. The plan is to go with 2@ 6.5 gallon ferments of some SweetFeed based on the tried and true recipes. I have used this in the past with good success.
I currently have 2 kegs setup for running this 15 gal beer keg setup with a 5500w stainless element. And a 7.5 gallon with a 2250w element. Have the parts for a controller setup 208v single phase putting this together in the man cave this evening. I just put together my still head Tri clover attached to the keg 20” x 2” copper and built a new 24” Liebig condenser 3/4” jacketed over 1/2”.. Id post pics but not sure how…
The plan as soon as my new fermentation buckets arrive ill start the mash and while its running .. finish up the minor details and do a couple cleaning/ test runs i plan on running the 7.5 gallon keg until i get the hang of it… Lets see how this adventure turns out !!
