I have a heater for my 6 gallon still that I would also like to use on a 10 gallon stainless steel kettle/pot. The heater clamps onto a flange on my still. I think the flange is about 2" diameter.
Are there fittings available that I can install onto the side of the pot to attach the heater?
Thanks.
How do I add a port to the side of a pot for a flange?

About 2" could be either 1.5" or 2" measure the fitting to be sure. Most likely it's 2"
Here's a link to tri-clamp fitting dimensions. https://triclamp.co/pages/tri-clamp-inf ... zing-guide
For a no-weld option, search "DERNORD 2" Tri Clamp Bulkhead Compression Fitting 304 Stainless Steel Weldless"

If you can spend a little extra and don't mind performing some minor soldering, take a look at the pull-through silver soldering method at Brewhardware.

I've used this method for tri-clamp ferrules and NPT bulkheads. It's super solid, almost like TIG welded bulkhead. Basically, drill a hole, pull through the fitting and then, using flux, silver solder and a blow torch, solder in the fitting.
