Hey folks, new member here. I've lurked for a while but the recent members only change convinced me to register and try to actually engage with the community.
I've been a practitioner of this craft for just shy of a decade now. My current setup includes a T500 with the copper alembic and a 1 gal air still for small experimental batches. I mostly do rum and gin, but have been branching out into liqueurs and single ingredient infusions lately to get an idea of what each ingredient really brings to table; also trying to nail down my own akvavit recipe (inspired by Vikre's in Duluth). I also brew beer, so I'm not afraid of full grain mashes, just don't always have the time to commit to it at the larger volumes needed for this side of the hobby.
Hoping that by joining I'll be able to refine my skills more with what I learn here and maybe share the few things I know a little bit about when appropriate.
Anyway, happy to be here!
