I'm a relatively new distiller.
I've been brewing all grain beer for the past 2 years, and 6 months ago I got myself an Air Still Pro to dip my toes into the hobby with.
After a number of successful reflux runs with TPW I managed to get the percentage up to ~92% alcohol after putting SPP in the air still.
I made limoncello, taters Kahlua, limecello, finochietto & amaretto.
For Christmas this year I started to build myself a still from Kegland's polyphoenix range (I'm lucky enough to work 10 mins away from kegland). So far I have ran a stripping run of buccaneer bob's rum through it, I've got the second generation of rum in the fermenter, and I'm going to run the second wash with the first generation low wines through 3 bubble plates.
Looking forward to making my own whiskeys in the near future. As with homebrewing, it's such a creative and rewarding hobby.
Thanks for letting me be part of the community!
