I'm just getting started in this adventure... I've dabbled a bit with wine and beer but never gone to the dark side, so to speak. My wife bought me a cheap Vevor setup for Christmas, more as a joke than anything, I think, but I'm loving it so far.
I've got a rum wash finishing up in the fermenters right now, and I'll be stripping it pretty soon. A bourbon style whiskey is next on the agenda, along with some better gear.
At any rate, I'm loving all the great info in these forums... some great, knowledgeable folks helping us newcomers learn all the ins and outs.
Looking forward to participating in some good discussions as I learn the ropes.
