Sugar Wash Rotten smell.

Having issues with a sugar wash... 4 gallon water 8 pounds domino sugar 4 tablespoons of yeast nutrient(DAP) and one tablespoon of redstar dady yeast ph was at 5.2 before yeast was pitched and sg was 1.08. pitched yeast at around 77 degrees Fahrenheit I have it in my house which is 75 degrees and wrapped in a blanket and it's producing rotten egg smell... Could my nutrient be bad I can't figure out what is stressing my yeast.
