Hey guys,
Just ran my official first ujssm stripping run this morning out of my new keg still. I’ve got a 5500w heating element and it took roughly 3.5 hours to strip 6 gallons of mash. Does that sound normal? I see guys talking about doing a stripping run in 1.5 hours and it just seems like that’s not feasible for my build.
I’m getting a steady stream of alcohol coming out but at a pretty damn high abv and my controller is turned all the way up. Any thoughts/ideas or is this pretty standard?
