Seems that if you ferment a CROW or a HBB or any all grain bill and siphon down to the grain bed
it makes more sense to me to leave all the grain/yeast right there.
lets pretend you had 5 lbs total grains.
lets pretend you had 2 gallons of water
when that is finished fermenting and you get the clear beer off the grain.
This beer will need to strip/spirit run to get what your looking for.
you will need to have pre disolved sugar and water.
Sugar lbs = .533 X ( total grain lbs ) or .533 X 5 = 2.66 lbs of sugar
water gal = .4 X ( total grain lbs ) or .4 X 5 or 2 gallons
take your 2 gallons of water and disolve 2.66 lbs of sugar and make sure its cooled off
then pour it in on the grain bed, maybe stir it up a bit, it will be off the the races.
in a week you beer will be ready to run .
This beer will need to strip/spirit run to get what your looking for.
I used Jimbo wheat recipe and some knowledge i learned from UJSSM.
I have been sipping on HBB gumball, and its not bad, so I can keep paws off the HBB and CROW.
I think one time I figured about thirty dollars a quart for HBB and maybe three bucks a quart for gumball in ingredients.
your mileage may vary, use only under adult supervision, light fuse get away.
Not Squeezing but running gumball style
