Hi y'all and thanks for having me here. I will try to behave so no one has any reason to kick me out!
I'm from New Zealand where we are allowed to make alcohol, I recently made and distilled my first batch of alcohol using my old air still that I normally use for distilling water. I have just bought an air still pro because a few stacked discounts and some credit card points got me a great deal. But it isn't here yet so I'm stuck reading until it arrives.
I'm the kind of person who likes to make things by following instructions. I don't intend to ever buy or (heaven forbid!) build my own still. I'm all about 'mix part A with part B' and it works. As a soapmaker I understand safety first then attention to detail and great ingredients are the keys to success. Hopefully that works for distilling as well.
So thats me; not a hobbyist, just a newbie maker using all the tools available to make a drinkable product easily because the taxman already gets enough of my money
