Pickens, South Carolina bust

Post by Bolverk »

There are two types of people in this world.
1. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete information.

Not an operational still. Just pieces of a still. Hmm.

A 2 gallon pot and 50 gallons of wash.
That moonshiner is one busy beaver doing so many tiny runs.

I didn't see a pot for a boiler either, only the lid.
The owner could claim he is making sugar wine and the little Chinese worm is a wort chiller.

Sounds like a classic case of "news drought". Nothing to report from NC except they found a distilling helmet and something alcoholic in a barrel. "STOP THE PRESSES!!!". :D
Ongoing projects: Green Diamond Wheated Bourbon v5; and time for summer cleaning of the distillery.

"Why did yall dump my mead?!!!"

A vivor stove top still, man, he needs a raise for a bust like that, i wonder if he had better luck finding the drugs they went for
I think I'll go home and fire up my still, it might not make me feel better but, I bet it will

I haven't looked yet but is the Sherif up for reelection?
Kinda looks like he is reliving the glory days of an ATF agent.
If I was the prosecuting attorney, I'd be worried about how the case might play out in court.
Maybe make a plea deal, with the stove top moonshiner or drop the charges.

If it goes to trial, every mistake the sherif did would be exsposed.
From the county prosecuting attorneys' point of view this case could easily go sideways and be dangerous to them.
