Has anyone tried making Passoa?

Post by NinetyFive »

Went to the store today and saw dried passion fruit slices for sale. I'm wondering if I could make Passoa by myself by infusing the dried fruit with vodka.
Has anyone experimented with passion fruit? I think it could be delicious.

This sounds promising. Try it and let us know how it works out!
🎱 The struggle is real and this rabbit hole just got interesting.
Per a conversation I had with Mr. Jay Gibbs regarding white oak barrel staves: “…you gotta get it burning good.”

I haven't tried what you're suggesting but I have made a passion fruit brandy and it's... Different!

I'd be interested to hear what your results are if you do try it?

I went ahead and rehydrated 50g of dried passion fruit and threw it in to 200ml of 50% ABV. Gonna let it sit for 5-7 days and mix with syrup
