Dayum! Girl has a Voice.
+1 Jimbo
I listen to a little bit of everything. Bluegrass, folk, old rock, new rock, southern rock, swing, industrial, thrash, old Hardcore Punk, Ska, country, classical, jazz, blues, whatever. I don't really care about the genre per se, but the heart of the music is what sucks me in.
What I listen to daily changes with my mood. I can almost always listen to Janis or Bill Monroe, or Sublime. Kinda odd, but that's just me.
Celtic women is on witf rite now. There is also a buch of ther stuff on utube. Gotta love a hot blond that can saw on a fiddle and a redhead that can play the spoons. And they all got a set of pipes.
They also sing the best version of amazing grace I ever heard.
Old school metal head at heart, give me Maiden, Priest, Crue or Ozzy any day.
But I do consider myself fairly well rounded however excluding rap of course.
I get funny looks when I drop from Maiden to Buddy Guy to The Outlaws over to Motley Crue to Elton John to Kiss to George Michael, that's right I said it, George Michael.
Laugh if you will, that man had a voice few can rival and should have been Queens pick to take over for Freddie Mercury.
Been a long time since i contributed to the music portion of our fine site, and as i was reading around, i tuned the tv to turner classic movies and there is a little film about a fiddler i have grown fond of in the last year, named Tommy Jarrel.
this song i heard sung by a favorite of mine named Dirk Powell, however the old timers can really dig deep in the emotion and feel of the primal feeling of my heart and soul, which is probably where he got it from.... enjoy Tommy Jarrell and fred cockerham :

I've Always been a "punk", punkrocker. Bad Religion is my all time favourite, Dr Graffin's and Mr Brett's lyrics are just there...
Not to forget, Metal, like Iron Maiden .. Btw, we were at a Paul Di'anno gig a few weeks ago..it was great!! All Maiden songs!
For those who dont know, Paul Di'anno was the singer of Iron Maiden on the two first studioalbums....

Nice, seen Bad Religion live in Chi town, very cool show. My favorite band ever is probably Rancid, seen them tons, every time they come through. I love any and all Irish punk and SKA punk. Rancid and Transplants played a double header at the Fillmore in Detroit couple years ago, worth every second of the 11 hour round trip drive. There's some good local Irish style punk, Flatfoot 56 is getting global attention now, touring all over the planet. Flogging Molly, Pogues, Dropkick Murphies and many more are on regular rotation in my player.
