Re: strawberry panty-dropper
I made this a little while ago, used the lemon juice and fresh strawberries, etc, and it turned out well.
Trouble is that it now has some sediment in the bottom of the bottle, looks terrible.. is this because I didn't use coffee filters??
Cheers

Re: strawberry panty-dropper
Damn is this ever good stuff. Did one with raspberries, delicous! And I also did another one with strawberries mangoes and peach. So delicous. I only soaked fruit for approx 36 hrs, but i started my jars off piping hot. placed the jars in a pot of water and heated for a good half hour just to kickstart the process. Once it was all done, I added a wine conditioner containing invert sugar and pottasium sorbate. The pottasium sorbate seemed to mellow it out nicely. This helped as I left it at 45%. Let my sister try some and she loves it. But now its time to head to a woman friends birthday party. Well see if this lives up to its name!! Got a 2L of each liquer, 2L of kahlua, and a nice bottle of 93% neutral for this guy.

Re: strawberry panty-dropper
Hey All,
Just wondering if i can clarify a couple things.
1. Should i add the lemon juice to the alc soon as it is pulled from the fruit, while i wait for the syrups to seep out?
2. "then add the strawberry syrup until the desired taste is reached, water to 80 proof and strain until no strawberry particles are seen"
----- When I water it down to 80proof will i not also be diluting the flavor?
I am looking to fill a jugg that is the exact same as Festers.

Only have quart jars to soak in now, should i look into getting larger ones?
Any tips?
Thanks for your time.
p.s. - Fester, think i would refrain from calling it "Red Roofies".. name like that minds well call it Panty Repellent!

It looks like they use green plums in Japan for their panty droppin juice. The video says wine but they are soaking fruit in 35% abv clear liquor (shochu).

Re: strawberry panty-dropper
has anyone found a good way to clear this after you make it. I have just made up a batch but notice you can see some of the solids floating in the finished product. It does not really hurt anything I just thought it would be prettier if you could clear it up. Do most of you just drink this over ice or do shots. I thought about using it as a mixer say with sprite or something like that.

I would like a label that is white on white with a slim gal in a dress bending over with red panties ( maybe polka dots) around her ankles. Nothing showy but just a little suggestive. No color except for the panties. Think Betty Boop only slimmer.

Run it through a natural cotton wad. Goes pretty quickly.Kentucky shinner wrote:has anyone found a good way to clear this after you make it.
Goes a bit slower if you use a coffe filter.

Re: strawberry panty-dropper
Well I just tried my a drink of this stuff... I can see where It will do the trick on the panties... I fixed a little ginger ale on ice and added enough pd to give a nice red color. Hey it was really pretty good, a little sweet for my taste but not bad. I can see where the ladies will love it.

Keep the pith out or she'll get plenty bitter.
Edit:
Oh, didn't read that slow enough.
I see your thinking. Kind of a pink lemon aid?

Re: strawberry panty-dropper
Yes on both. I'm just trying to think of alternatives that would work equally as well. Even if it does yield a different taste.
I wanted to know if there were worthwhile results before I waste some of the limmoncello i've made on an idea that doesn't work.
Maybe i'll try it anyway, and just report back on if its a success or not.
