"somewhere in the woods"
well, right out the back door. Not sure if he's after SWMBO's birdseed or he heard I have cracked corn in the garage.

Nice work deer farmer. I’ve read all of this thread and I like the way you do things. Don’t worry about the pissants, just do what ya want to do. Only thing I would do different is to teach a younger guy (or girl) how to carry on when you’re too old to do it anymore. Remember, knowledge ya take to the grave with ya is wasted.

Sick set up, I love the pipes connecting your still and thump and condenser, mine suck and I wish I knew how to solder to redo it.

Re: somewhere in the woods
read thru thread and I'll admit that's how I would do it if I could. I built my own 12 gallon rig, not as pretty as yours, but i can say its mine. got 115 acre beside me but a lot of the neighbours dont respect fence and its constantly got vistors. a copper still would be at the scrap yard in minutes. enjoy the experience.

it looks as if the season is over for the year.a couple of good runs and pack it up for next year.i started late and finish early, that is an
other first for me.hopefully I will be able go into the woods and do it all again.i have problems getting around these days...nothing better than a moonlit night and that 'ole thumper just a thumping away filling those jars drip by drip.keep shining guys...-

I still going strong, not going to change anything next year except maybe more runs and some different mash flavors.i can't seem to remember how to post pictures.i know I have posted them before...the copper seems to look bad and I have to clean it up some,I used to polish it with never dull or mothers polish.it has been what 7 years since I found and joined this site.

Below the text entry box, there is an “Attachments” tab. Click it and navigate to the photo on your device, ie - photos file. Then attach it. If you click “post inline”, you’ll get a duplicate image, but you only need one. So, just backspace to eliminate the duplicate (it’ll be between the [ ] brackets in your thread text box. Then, submit. Bingo!

p.s. - the photo must be resized to a maximum of 800 pixels in either direction to post. Larger photos won’t work.
