This is a cop out. Why does Rule 8 even exist?

All I am saying is that the safety policy should be applied evenly. If copper condensors might pose a safety concern then the HD should draw the line, just like it did with plastics and other materials.

I thought there was a group at the helm of the forum that would discuss and decide what could and couldn't be discussed on the forum.

They would be the ones that are imposing rules, not me. I'm just making a suggestion.

It is an example of how the forum imposes limits on what can and can't be discussed and the reason given is because it is better to err on the side of caution and because any unsafe practices may work against the legalization of the hobby.

I have not been involved in this DISPLAY... But I can see that this thread is going nowhere... no additional information is deemed to be required!
